| Prologue: Our nation needs to be more tough on the low-life scum of our nation, the criminals. The murderers, the rapists, the molesters and the rest. They all need to be removed from our society, permanently. I propose that a state-wide death penalty be reinstated and a "Trust or death" system be established. Trust or Death system: If a someone commits a crime that is deemed violent and extreme enough for the death penalty (murder, terrorism etc.), if the criminal performs the violent crime on only one citizen during or its their first "death penalty" crime, they will be given a prison sentence. If the same criminal or a criminal commits the violent crime on more than one citizen, the death penalty can be applied. Why this system? As much as I hate to believe, rehabilitation can work, sometimes. There are people who genuinely killed a citizen with out proper intent, with out a proper motive or they feel the necessity to reform themselves whatever way they can. These are the people that should be protected from the death penalty, those who will genuinely pay for their crime(s). But if the person did have proper intent, did have proper motive and will not commit to reform themselves, we should show NO mercy to these people. The criminals who attempt to devalue our citizens and our society should NOT be allowed to walk the streets again. Articles. 1. The death penalty will be made a nation-wide form of judicial punishment for serious crimes like murder, rape, molestations and crimes of related. 2. The "Trust or Death" system will be adopted to protect criminals who will reform and amend their ways while punishing those who refuse to change. |
