| Message | Mr. Speaker, As promised, we will cut tax for the lowest paid and increase taxes on the most wealthy. Some of the lowest-income earners will see tax cuts of up to 8%, while the richest will pay up to 11% more. This is a much more progressive system than the current regime and will allow greater levels of public spending without drastic impacts on peoples' incomes. |
