We do not have a national religion therefore there are no arguments that can be made that do not allow an openly gay man or woman into the armed forces. Their is no risk of these people being less competent than anyone else as they are humans too. The only argument against allowing openly gay people into the armed forces is that you disagree on religious grounds which is irresponsible of our nation's leaders.
