Message | This party believes that everyone has the right to identify in any way they wish: this includes open homosexuality. Therefore, I do believe that someone who is openly homosexual should not be barred from joining the armed forces. My party will vote in favour of this bill. |
Date | 01:33:31, December 17, 2015 CET | From | Bailonese Council Communist Party (BCCP) | To | Debating the To Allow Homosexuals in the Military |
Message | We will vote against this bill due to our opposition to sexuality, whether done by sodomites or not. |
Date | 05:11:57, December 17, 2015 CET | From | Party for Practical Progress | To | Debating the To Allow Homosexuals in the Military |
Message | The law of the land states that there is to be no discrimination against people in the military based on race or gender, so there is no reason to not extend this right to sexual orientation as well. Just b/c you don't like sex doesn't make it okay to discriminate based on it. |
Date | 18:12:00, December 17, 2015 CET | From | Bailonese Council Communist Party (BCCP) | To | Debating the To Allow Homosexuals in the Military |
Message | Actually it does, although we would prefer for this to be a local issue - if the military were not funded nationally. |
Date | 18:58:18, December 17, 2015 CET | From | Green Party | To | Debating the To Allow Homosexuals in the Military |
Message | Disagreeing with someones sexuality is fine as a personal opinion. However, discrimination based on that fact is wrong. We do not have a national religion therefore there are no arguments that can be made that do not allow an openly gay man or woman into the armed forces. Their is no risk of these people being less competent than anyone else as they are humans too. The only argument against allowing openly gay people into the armed forces is that you disagree on religious grounds which is irresponsible of our nation's leaders. Confederate Party of Beluzia, I ask that you reconsider your backwards views and vote in the name of equality. |
