Message | Reducing safeguards against those who seek to harm the citizens of this country is a very dangerous notion. We will be voting against this bill. |

Message | While a small amount of criminals may try and flee from the authorities the pursuit of criminals is left up to local police forces. Local police forces are responsible for catching criminals not the national government. The exact law reads and I quote, "The operation and funding of the police is left to local governments." If the local government cannot catch criminals it is not our problem per ideological arguments made in previous debates. This legislation does not regard a no-fly list which is still possible. Terrorists could not flee the country assuming our country had something as simple as this. And regarding the DLP, this legislation regards OUR nationals, not foreign nationals traveling in. The current law regarding foreigners is, and again I quote, "The nation imposes strict border control on visitors, with intensive security checks, to maintain law and order." From these two arguments, we can see that this bill would in fact be best if passed. It poses no security risk to us. This legislation also supports your constituents views from the recent newsletter. All in all, this bill must be passed in the name of democracy and based on our current legislation. |

Message | So we must assume the Green Party does not care for the security of other nations, only ours? We cannot isolate ourselves from the international community, and allowing criminals to pass easily and freely from this country when we know we could have stopped them will not help. Now is is not the time to relax these rules because stopping terrorists and criminals when they are still in the country is what we should do. Perhaps if the Green Party had more regard for the security of other nations we might all be safer. |

Message | The moral code of a government is to care for its citizens first. This bill would in fact best allow for our citizens to remain happy. This is by common logic, fulfilling the moral code of our government. It is not that we do not care for the citizens of other nations, we just care about our citizens the most. Under this bill, security is not impacted as you did not address the possibility of a no-fly list by our national intelligence agency. Terrorists and criminals would not be able to fly or travel out of the country, even if they had a passport. The only point you make is that it would harm other countries however through our parties points, you can clearly see that this won't be an issue. Please address this point in rebuttal so as to keep the debate productive instead of personally attacking my party. |
