WHEREAS - Current legislation does not provide sufficient self-sustaining fisheries production, and leaves it to local governments who may have inadequate policies - Current legislation does not provide low-income farms with assistance to keep food production THEREFORE SECTION 1. Short Title I. This Act may be referred to as the "Food for Likatonia Act." SECTION 2. Agricultural Farms I. Any farm owned by a household that is in the 25th percentile of household earnings for the local region it resides in shall be awarded a annual grant of up to 50,000 LIK to the discretion of the Minister of Agriculture. |
