Bill: Budget proposal of June 3955

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party of Luthori

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3956

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

We believe that this budget is better fit to address the needs of the Luthorian people and the Luthorian Government's tasks and duties. We specifically increased the Science & Technology and the Infrastructure budgets because they are extremely under funded at the moment.

Leader of the Conservatives

MessageMr. Speaker,

I am afraid that we cannot sustain this budget as we believe that while the HoG and the Justice Ministries are supra-funded, the Health and Social Services and the Education and Culture Ministries are sub-funded. And so, we shall vote against this budget proposal as the budget needs to be revised in the sense of balancing the expenses while the revenues shall be raised so that we can spand as much money as it's needed in every single Ministry.
Thank you!

I yield!

The Rt Hon David May MD,
Leader of the LPP.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We ask for this current mandate to end and snap elections be called immediately if this budget fails just like the last one proposed. The Imperial Diet has already shown they have no confidence in this current government. We don't expect this budget to pass either.

I yield,

Rt Hon. Steven Bond

The CPL has overrided their authority and taken tasks from the Ministry of Finance. Therefore we will resign from the Cabinet and propose a snap election.

I yield.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
