MessageWhat family would send their child to a school where children did not learn math or science? Such a school would be unprofitable, to say the least.

MessageNo. No it isn't. Education remains part of the state. It is there to fulfil a specific purpose, to inform and teach the next generation on both a social and academic basis. Standards must be set to ensure that goal is adequately achieved - and it should apply to religious schools every bit as much as secular ones.

MessageIndeed. Religion is still religion, and the State has no part telling people what they can and cannot preach, but the state sure as hell has control over Secular Education, and eliminating regulation will only undermind the education of those who attend religious schools.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.

Random quote: "There are many men of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle." - Alexis de Tocqueville
