Message | Mr. Speaker, what types of arms are we talking about then? Should military weaponry be forbidden for the public? Or should we go further in restricting the types of weapons? Lort Karav NWL chairman |

Message | This bill wasn't made with the intent of changing the types of weapons available to the public, however this bill can be changed if need be, but the intent was that we should release restrictions, mostly, on carrying weapons on public property, that's not a place of work. Of course this doesn't change the fact they need a permit to have a weapon at all, just no further restrictions. Should this bill Pass, currently all weapons available to the public now would still be available, if not changed. Stephen Lodamun PLUP President |

Message | Mr. Speaker, my party would like to know, since the weapons would be allowed anywhere, what weaponry we are talking about. Are there any restrictions? Lort Karav NWL chairman |

Message | Pistols would be allowed in and around most public property but owners of stores or businesses can veto that right in their work place. Now as far as military grade weapons, like a rifle of any kind, if the public actually has one, they would have to keep it at their respective homes. Shotguns included. It would probably just be pistols that are allowed just anywhere. And anyone who would have the weapon on public property would be subject to police searches, just to see if they have a permit. So they would have to have their weapons permit at all times. Stephen Lodamun PLUP President |
