MessageMy Speaker,

We'll have to support this for the most part except for the increase in Education and Culture spending.

Message"The proposed increase in education and culture spending is to be funnelled to our primary and secondary school students. It is designed to give our youth every tool they need in their arsenal to become successful employees for industry. The increase will allow us to hire more teachers to decrease class sizes, raise educational standards, refurbish, enlarge and replace the increasingly run-down schooling infrastructure after years of socialist mismanagement. This education spending is an investment in our youth that we believe will yield significant dividends in twenty to thirty years time."

-Paĉjo Jones, KRP Shadow Minister for Education and Culture

MessageMy Speakers,

Those educational problems can be easily fixed by the power of the free market which lowers prices and increases quality. Throwing money at the failing socialist school system has been proven to do nothing really and which what you're doing legitimatizes socialist "education".

MessageMost Honorable Speaker,

Many of my party colleagues are concerned about the proposed decrease in the funding apportioned to the Ministry of Health and Social Services in addition to that of Infrastructure and Transport, and equally so as to the increase in the funding provided to the Ministry of Defense. That being said, the party as a whole is greatly pleased to see such dedication in the pursuit of a responsible budget and is indeed heartened to witness such care in the furthering of all citizens through the increased attention toward their education. We will vote in favor of this motion.

Message"The reason for the increase in the defence budget is to actually give us a defence capability. The previous budget of only a few thousand ZARs a year is barely enough to buy a handful of rifles and is not enough to provide even the most basic of equipment to a single infantryman. I think we can all agree that a nation needs to have the ability to defend its citizens and its territory."

-Amika Hirose, KRP Shadow Minister for Defence
