Bill: Improvement of Worker's Rights

Details

Submitted by[?]: The Communist Party of Saridan

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3972

Description[?]:

Mr. Spreker,

The status of workers in Saridan is one resembling mediocrity, the laws regarding the rights for the working class are moderately basic. If we are to become a nation where no one is left behind, a nation that finds strength in it's unity and a nation that is progressively productive then we must further the rights of the working class. This is a key part of our society as the working class is a large demographic and plays a vital role in ensuring our nation is organised and efficient, that being said - we must care for and act in the interests of the working class so we can be sure that everyone's needs are met and that we are truly a great nation that cares for it's citizens. Therefore, it is necessary to propose the following changes in legislation to best suit the workers.

Virkmund Marx,
Communist Shadow Minister of Internal Affairs.

MessageMr Spreker,

We support article 2, but we oppose article 1. We do not believe DWC's to be beneficial to the economy, so we do not think we should subsidize them. If article 1 is removed we will vote yes.

MessageMr. Spreker,

New times require new solutions, we believe that this bill has the potential to benefit our economy and satisfy workers at the same time. Moreover this initiative is harmless and has no negative long-term effects on the development of our nation.

The King's servants call us elitist corporate representatives, yet it is them that really do not care for the long-term well-being of the people of Saridan and their standard of living. They should truly query their own actions and stop blindly following the Monarch all the time.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".
