Message | Mr. Speaker, The Democratic-Republican Party is happy that foreign investors want to invest in national companies. Placing a restriction that foreign investors may not get a majority share is important to protect the interests of the citizens of this great nation. Without this restriction, foreign investors with majority share can move companies to foreign nations, especially if an industry our nation creates become popular around the world. Please vote in favor of this common sense change in our nation's laws to protect our nation's proprietary industries. Jordan Eldridge Leader, Democratic-Republican Party |
