Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | The government has no place subsidising research when private companies are much better situated to know what is needed, (i.e. what will sell!), in a private health market. These companies should be allowed to do the research they deem necessary and if we allow them then they will have to take into account any protests that such research may cause, (and the cost to them of policing them). Finally government has no need to fund space exploration, if a company want to lauch a satellite they know how to go about it, they dig into company funds and pay someone to launch for them or fund it themselves perhaps in association with other companies. |

Message | We would possibly like some sort of review on Space Exploration once every other parliament or something. |
Date | 20:00:04, January 20, 2006 CET | From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Science and Technology Deregulation |
Message | We would have no problems with reviewing any portion at any time. |

Date | 17:33:25, January 21, 2006 CET | From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Science and Technology Deregulation |
Message | We in The Libertarian Party love animals, however we love humans more! Any company that enters into research must take into account the mood of the people and must calculate the cost of policing any protests into whether the benefits the research will garner will outweight the potential costs. As stated in the bill, the costs of policing any protests will be born by the research companies whose premises are being protected. |
