MessageThe government has no place subsidising research when private companies are much better situated to know what is needed, (i.e. what will sell!), in a private health market.

These companies should be allowed to do the research they deem necessary and if we allow them then they will have to take into account any protests that such research may cause, (and the cost to them of policing them).

Finally government has no need to fund space exploration, if a company want to lauch a satellite they know how to go about it, they dig into company funds and pay someone to launch for them or fund it themselves perhaps in association with other companies.

Any company that enters into research must take into account the mood of the people and must calculate the cost of policing any protests into whether the benefits the research will garner will outweight the potential costs. As stated in the bill, the costs of policing any protests will be born by the research companies whose premises are being protected.
