Bill: NWL Cultural Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grand Nationalist Fraction

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3976

Description[?]:

As Minister of Education and Culture for some time now, I have noticed that, in my department, four out of five Provinces follow the governments lead. One of our Provinces keeps worrying me. I do not feel much for the idea of letting our Provinces, and the Shadowlands in particular, to make decisions on such issues. Art subsidisation might seem negligible, but it is a very important instrument. Art can turn people against their friends. Eventhough the Shadowlands secretly seek independence, the nation is still their friend.
Therefore this law should change.

Minister of Culture and Education

The shadow lands are Lodamun and Lodamun is the shadow lands. The sooner this is realized the better.

I will vote in favour of this bill, but I strongly disagree with the Prime Minister's statements.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.

Random quote: "If it were proved to me that in making war, my ideal had a chance of being realized, I would still say 'No' to war, for one does not create human society on mounds of corpses." - Louis Lecoin
