Message | I'd rather be able to trace a pet back to it's owner. No |
Date | 13:13:09, January 20, 2006 CET | From | Imperial Party of Selucian | To | Debating the Pet Freedom Act |
Message | We oppose. There were good reasons in the last debate to have the current law. Animal deseases and and and are just some of them. We are not talking about cats or dogs. It is about pigs and cows walking outside on the gras and have to be registered. |
Date | 17:26:46, January 20, 2006 CET | From | Uleroth Liberation Party | To | Debating the Pet Freedom Act |
Message | Who has a pet cow? People could still voluntarily register animals with non-governmental organizations (societies for the prevention of cruelty to animals, for example). And we are talking about cats and dogs (in addition to those other things), and many more people have cats and dogs than lions and tigers and bears. Those things can be regulated in regulating the ownership of exotic animals, registering the pets is less effective at preventing this. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
Random quote: "By a continuing process of inflation, government can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens." - John Maynard Keynes |
