Bill: Foreign Investment Reform Act 3982

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Socialist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3983

Description[?]:

Currently, foreign investors need to obtain government approval before making investments. However we believe a more liberal stance is required although we believe there needs to be enough regulations to protect Gaduridan workers and the economy. We propose allowing foreign investment, but only allow investors to gain a minority share thus business stays within the country.

MessageThe opening of national services to foreign investment ensures that our burden as a Government is reduced. This is common sense legislation, however we are not surprised that the Social Democratic party cannot see the merit of this.
