MessageMr Speaker

We would be in favour of reducing it to 36 months, three years as opposed to a mere two years, which is nowhere near long enough for a term to be effective. We however believe that the NEXT election should be in two years due to the rise of new parties, but overall oppose shortening the length of the term to this degree.

MessageStatement from the Monarchist Party:

We would actually be in favor of 36-48 months; 36 if it MUST be reduced. However, we would likewise be in favor of a much more long term aristocratic or monarchical system being put in place to defend against the problems seen in elected officials.
