Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 16:04:36, February 16, 2016 CET | From | All Progressive Party | To | Debating the Economic Strengthening Act 3984 |
Message | This coalition government lacks consistency. How do we invite investors to an economy faced with tax changes almost too often? We need to maintain the current economic environment. Facilitate for more investment and policy implementation. |
Date | 19:47:10, February 16, 2016 CET | From | Social Democratic | To | Debating the Economic Strengthening Act 3984 |
Message | Mr Speaker, I cannot fathom what tax changes the All Progressive Party are referring to? The levelling of the playing field in the Income Tax arena; ensuring that people pay a fair tax on their wage? The reduction of a towering sales tax that was crippling our economy? Or is it the reduction of Corporation Tax as outlined in this bill? If the changes outlined have come to quickly for the All Progressive Party to keep up, then perhaps they should rescind their seats in the Senate, and allow us to move our country forward! |
Date | 08:56:51, February 17, 2016 CET | From | National Labor Front | To | Debating the Economic Strengthening Act 3984 |
Message | Mr Speaker, The National Labor Front cannot support a bill that simultaneously lowers our already dreadfully low corporate tax rates while allowing foreign investors into our nations markets. A bill like this simply allows other nations' monied interests to make successful investments hear easily while contributing nothing to our actual society. We heavily urge the currently ruling parties to reconsider all 'Yay' votes here. |
