Mr. Speaker, The RRP propose the following bill in order to centralize responsibility for cabinet formation with the President of the Commonwealth. Message | Mr. Speaker, As recorded in the contemporary history of Rutania, a gentleman's agreement was once reached by the former parties (including our own) that a six-month period is given for each party to propose a cabinet one by one, starting from the largest party. Due to the sheer number of parties yet the de facto two-camp system, executive offices may not be proportional to the actual political divide. If this amendment is indeed passed, the democratic and diverse tradition of our republic will be lost. We sincerely hope that you reconsider. Ellen Rouge, MP Bozarland |
