Message | Article 1 we are opposed too. The system we have now is fine for our needs and any tinkering with it will upset the adoption system. Article 2: We oppose as well. What about singles who want to adopt children? Article 3: Also opposed. Why do you want to get rid of homeschooling? Article 4: Support |

Message | Article 1: Trusting private companies with the life of a child is a ridiculously dangerous thing to do. Under this proposal we know exactly what's happening to our children. Article 2: We do not think that single parents can provide a stable family environment. Article 3: All children need to recieve a proper education. A child taught by their senile Marxist grandfather is not going to have a good education. |

Message | Support all but article 3. |
Date | 23:22:59, January 21, 2006 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Protecting Our Children |
Message | Most of our party members were either homeschooled or are homeschooling their kids. This seriously hampers our kids if we force them to attend school. We'll oppose article 3. |

Message | I'll remove article 3, in that case. |

Message | We thank DaVidan for doing so however we still cannot support this bill because of Article 2. We believe single parents can make good parents as well. |

Date | 21:46:31, January 23, 2006 CET | From | Patriot Party | To | Debating the Protecting Our Children |
Message | I would only support it if Article 3 was the lone proposal in this. We do not support Articles 1 and 2 but we do support 3. |

Message | OOC: This would make me an orphan....divorced parents and an atheist Marxist kid... IC: no. |

Date | 14:15:15, January 25, 2006 CET | From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the Protecting Our Children |
Message | We fear that if parents must take too rigorous a test, orphanages will be overcrowded and foster/adoption families hard to find. |
