MessageWe are not surprised by the RGSP's insistence in gutting our defense in the face of the Axis threat. Does the RGSP want Indrala to lose a war to help it stage a coup, sorry, "proletarian revolution"? Or does it hope to profit as traitors and collaborationists under a foreign conqueror?

MessageWe have always opposed imperialism, and the bad relations with the Axis countries will not change that. Also, we are not "gutting our defense," the national intelligence agency will still exist and help make us aware of threats.

MessageWe do not want to hinder the secret services by limiting their operations. Therefore we oppose.

MessageThe argument from "right" would lead to the conclusion that our agents should not break the law. Any country could then pass a law forbidding agents of a foreign power to report, and we could not legally gain intelligence from them. That would be a nonsensical position to adopt. The current proposal appears to be a mistaken effort to move towards a moral stance, but the justification is lacking. The pragmatic alternative is to allow our agents to do whatever is necessary.

As a matter of operational policy, agents would generally avoid unnecessary lawbreaking anyway, since the attentions of the police would hamper their freedom of movement.
