Message | Mr. Speaker, While I support the intention of affirmative action bills, I feel that if we enforce this, unqualified people will be forced into positions that they are not prepared for. My party feels that we must oppose this bill. Elizabeth Williams, DSPL Chairwoman |

Message | Mr Speaker, Discrimination of any kind is unacceptable. Nothing should stop any qualified minority from reaching the highest positions in any career but this will only encourage some members of the minority community to be lazy and work less hard towards their goal. Why would you bother studying hard if Uncle big Government will favourably admit you based on your race, gender etc? This only serves to entrench identity politics. which are divisive and counterproductive. Brian Hinn NLA Chairman |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
Random quote: "The two greatest obstacles to democracy in the United States are, first, the widespread delusion among the poor that we have a democracy, and second, the chronic terror among the rich, lest we get it." - Edward Dowling |
