Description[?]:
His Eminence Patriarch Constantine of the East, Archbishop of Lerna and Primate of Pontesi, commands the government of the Commonwealth to respect the separation between church and state and cease the heretical practice of meddling in the investiture of Bishops and Priests, which by right belongs to the Patriarch under the glorious and infallible guidance of His Holiness the Ecumenical Arch-Patriarch of the Holy Apostolic Church, the Successor of St. Michael, and has so belonged since Thomas III forgave the penitent Empress Theodora II her sin of appropriating to herself this most sacred prerogative of the Church. His Eminence commands that on pain of excommunication, no Priest within the Province of Pontesi shall administer the Most Holy Sacrifice of Gratitude to any member of the government unless they repent of this grievous sin against the rights and prerogatives of the Holy Mother Church. |

Message | Mr Speaker, These powers were granted to the government to protect us form Eastern Hosian terrorism and ensure a smooth transfer of the Hobrazian Church to the Terran Patriarchal Communion. As the State no longer needs to have this powers, we will comply with the request. We hope that in the future, the Patriarch will refrain from mixing his ecclesiastical powers with temporal matters like this. Hadrianus Maximus Minister of Justice |

Message | Mr Speaker, I am commanded by His Eminence to pardon the penitent Hadrianus Maximus in the name of God and Spirit. His Eminence is, however, most concerned at recent remarks. There is no such thing as a "Terran Patriarchal Communion" and any faithful Hosian should see this foul mockery of Our Lord and Saviour in Hiding for what it is and resolutely oppose it. His Eminence also resents the implication that redressing this wrong against the prerogatives of the Church and restoring the balance between the spiritual and the temporal constitutes an invasion into temporal affairs. He holds that the Church, under the wise and infallible guidance of His Holiness the Arch-Patriarch, has authority over temporal as well as spiritual affairs empowering and in fact compelling it to seek compliance by temporal authorities with its social teachings. His Eminence will not refrain. Canon Thomas Conversus Archdeacon to His Eminence the Patriarch |

Message | Mr Speaker, We oppose this bill to protest the interference of this Aurorian Patriarchal cleric in affairs of state. The bipartisan support merely confirms our long held fear that the Aurorian Church is an agent of the Selucian monarchy and seeks only to help the ruling family to annex Pontesi under its rule. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved." - Confucius |
