This bill, proposed by Agricultural Minister Valora Dezirinda, aims to improve the efficiency of the agricultural sectors by encouraging collective farms run by groups of farmers to be formed, building up a reserve of strategic crops so that in the case of drought there is not starvation - crops include maize, tomatoes and wheat - and limiting pesticide use to try and lessen our nations environmental damage. |

Old value:: Farmers are required to list chemicals used on their crops.
Current: Local governments may choose to regulate pesticides certification programs.
Proposed: The government approves and regulates agricultural chemical use.
Article 2

Old value:: Farm size is not regulated.
Current: Farms that grow too large are broken up and the land redistributed.
Proposed: Small farms are encouraged to merge together into larger ones.

Current: Agricultural crops which are considered beneficial to the enviroment or to the continued ecological safety of the state are subsidized.
