MessageSupported
There is a limited ammount of arrable land in Jakania, by breaking huge mega farms up it would give more opportunity to other entrepenuers to be good farms and provide more for Jakania.

MessageBad idea. We're taking away private property from investors without proper compensation. United Jakania does not allow the federal government to claim eminent domain. This'll be a very awkward and contradictory legal scheme we'd be setting up.

Even if investors were compensated, there are two other problems:
1) How can we guarantee that good farmers will also make for good businessmen? Theoretically, they could band together with other farmers to make collectives...until the maximum farm size rule kicks in again.
2) If I were a sneaky CEO of BigFoodCo, I'd make very sure that I kept my farm at the maximum allowable size and, perhaps, "buy stock" in the farms of other farmers who need my "technical and economic expertise" as well as credit.
