Message | Mr speaker, let me make a quick and honest statement about this bill. Standards in Rutania are quite high so children face little more danger than the average fast food chef. Thank you. Jeremy Pock MP Delvar |
Date | 12:57:28, April 11, 2016 CET | From | Green Party of Rutania | To | Debating the Child Labour Bill |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Reintroducing child labour - yet again - would be a huge step backwards. The Greens and the left must block this proposal. If this passes, childhoods will be taken away. Quite frankly, that the GRP want to turn children into "fast food chefs" is rather disturbing too. They should be socialising and studying, not flipping burgers for a multinational company with a poor labour record. - Rep. Anne Sulzbach, Green Party Leader |
Date | 17:58:33, April 11, 2016 CET | From | Alliance | To | Debating the Child Labour Bill |
Message | Mr Speaker, This is a dangerous bill and a fundamentally unethical idea. It is the basic right for children to grow in a favourable and nurturing environment. We don't increase productivity by making more people work, but to make them more efficient and more equipped for work when they enter the Labour market. Education is an investment children cannot miss and we must not let the new generations set back to our childhoods of working at sweatshops for low wages. Ed Stewart Leader, R!R |
Date | 11:04:56, April 13, 2016 CET | From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Child Labour Bill |
Message | Mr. Speaker, It may surprise some, but we can't agree with this bill. Children are not in a position to make their own decisions yet. We do support child labor with additional regulations, to ensure their safety and to make sure most of them can go to school. Trevor Roberst Deputy leader LP |

Message | Mr speaker, firstly we do not think this bill is unethical because child labour will have extra regulations and childhoods will not be "stolen" as some put it because we will never force children to work. Also we do not want children to work for fast food companies we want them to be achieving. Also the left should not oppose this bill because it allows more people to work and earn money for a sustainable future. The liberatarians should also vote for this because it makes children more FREE which is what liberal means. Thank you Jeremy Shilms Representative Kragusov |

Message | Mr Speaker, If the Great Rutania Party were to read their own bill they would see that this will NOT be providing extra regulations to the child labourers. You say their childhoods and educations will not be stolen because they will not be forced to work, but you cannot ensure that. Children are easily coerced and manipulated, especially by their parents. Andrew Phillips, Chairman of the Worker's Union, Representative of Kragusrov |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
