Bill: National Democratic Congressional Government [I]: Cabinet Proposal & "Reconstruction Acts" (August 4011)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Gwado-Jeongbu (과도정부)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 4012
Description[?]:
"As the new leader of the National Democratic Congress, it is now my duty to restore order to this troubled nation. The actions of the military and Choi Youngsoo - still cowardly on the run rather than facing justice - have proven that their politics have no place in Dankuk any longer. In honour of my good friends in the Congress who did not survive the coup, especially our former figurehead Tong Kwang Hoon, I now propose that we, the Congress, lead Dankuk into a brighter future. I present here the terms of the Congressional government which, with the dissolution of the Imperial People's Party, should enter into law and be accepted by all of us present here in the Senate in good faith. I extend the olive branch to those independent senators who once embraced the ranks of the IPP, and say that in the spirit of the new responsible democracy these measures are not only necessary but valuable to the new electorate. Let us cast the violence of the past into the shadows, and allow the people to conduct their lives and politics as they see fit! For Dankuk, it must be so!" --- National Democratic Congressional parliamentary leader Kal Chuwon (August 4011) |
