Message | I believe this is a step towards modernising our military forces, whilst investing in areas of our budget that are in urgent need of investment. Also the treaty ensures that we can be protected by Dorvik if any invasion of our country occurs. Kenneth Davies Foreign minister |
Date | 15:39:14, January 23, 2006 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | We most definitely oppose. Especially that part about allowing an airbase. NO absolutely not. We oppose on that alone. We will not tolerate foreign troops on our soil. I am urging all self-respecting parties to oppose this. We should not be seen courting aggressive nations. |
Date | 17:20:53, January 23, 2006 CET | From | Redneck Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | Opposed. Why should we let a Vicious nation have a base in our nation? That is just calling for them to turn on us. It wouldn't take much and they could whipe us off the face of the earth without us even having a chance to defend ourselves. |
Date | 18:24:23, January 23, 2006 CET | From | One Nation Socialist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | like i said we have a close relationship with them and they need us as a strong ally. To bring the real worl into this as i love doing their leader is doing this in return for a favour outside the game. We don't have to change any laws and we could actually make a lot of money if we sold the arms on. You talk of protecting ourselves against neighbouting countries. Well with dorvikian troops very few would dare to invade. Would the council accept if i drew up a proposal that would mean we could station our troops there? |
Date | 18:55:10, January 23, 2006 CET | From | Redneck Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | We, in The Redneck party would consider it depending upon the wording of the treaty, so I advise to word it very careful. |
Date | 19:08:48, January 23, 2006 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | I would much appreciate if we could have a conference with them where we all can draw this up to make it more supporting. |

Date | 21:38:22, January 23, 2006 CET | From | Patriot Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | We of the Patriot Party also have no choice but to oppose this treaty. We have been around and know that if we allow Dorvik to have any troops on our soil, they will use them to try to gain more concessions out of us. They have been agressive to their neighbors and we cannot vote for a treaty that includes them. I am urging the One Nation Conservative Party to think long and hard about this proposal. I am sorry my colleagues but the Patriot Party will not toss their support to this Treaty. I also move that this be brought to a vote at the earliest opportunity. |
Date | 23:16:09, January 23, 2006 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | We second the motion made by the Patriot Party to move to a vote. |
Date | 18:24:39, January 24, 2006 CET | From | One Nation Socialist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | i agree with the idea of a conference and i will see what i can do. How about they set up a temorary base and leave after a limited period. The bill for them is about increasing their influence influence in our part of the world. So the base and their troops would exist in our nation until we ourselves are strong enough to become a reliable ally of them. Our country would gain from this enourmously. |
Date | 18:42:43, January 24, 2006 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | We still oppose. We can look after ourselves and our military, BEFORE you hacked our defense budget, was one of the best. We keep them well trained and able to defend this country. We do not need outside influence and we sure as hell will not support their presence here even on a limited bases. |
Date | 20:35:58, January 24, 2006 CET | From | Noordelijk Bevrijding Front | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | To The Grand Tribal Council, First of all I would like to congratulate the ONCP on their recent election victory and pioneering reforms. Let us waste no time in adressing the terms and situation that surrounds this treaty. Firstly let me point out the fact that Dorvik has never been an instigating aggressor in terms of foreign policy, YES we were involved in the Londamun conflicts and Terra War 1, this was the direct result of Alliance commitments. In the Case of Terra War 1, we were attacked FIRST by Dundorf and Kanjor. If the same happened to you what would you do? Lie down like a coward and surrender? I think not. Quite clearly you have not examined the events of the war closely, we acted in self defence and the defence of freedom, we stood up to AXIS agression, if the time comes again when our borders or the borders of our allies are threatened I will not hesitate in commiting to securing the future of Liberty. Secondly quite clearly you have not examined the legislature of our nation. We are one of the very few that DO NOT posses Nuclear, Biological or Chemical weapons. These are Inhumane tools of warefare that have no place in a civil society. If you accuse us of being unstable perhaps you should examine the events of Terra War 1 more closely; 1. Dorvik did not use any non-conventional Weaponry 2. Dorvik ensured that a peace treaty could be agreed 3. Dorvik reluctantly entered into the war after all other means at our disposal were exhausted. 4. Dorvik ensured only Military Targets were Bombed. 1. Kanjor Used Chemical and Biological Weapons on Selucia and the Democratic Deltaria (at the time) 2. Kanjor and Deltaria threatened to use Nuclear Weapons to end the war. WHO IS THE THREAT?? WHO IS UNSTABLE?? THE AXIS OR THE ALLIES?? At this current point in time the AXIS has called for a renewal of hostilities against the Allied Nations and bombed Selucia with no reason. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In my opinion Tukarali gains inexorably from this treaty. A developing nation like yourselves who cannot compete with the Threat of AXIS mobilisation which is exponential due to their large Defence budgets and lack of investment in other areas would benefit from Military aid massivley. We do not want Tukarali to be another warzone nor do we want you to have to sacrifice your great provision for your peoples to fight a war that could be avoided. Training your men with the greatest in modern equipment will definatley be a deterrent to the often poorly equipped hordes present in your region. Our Air Base will simply be a training base which we will benefit from becuase our armed forces will be able to experiance different climatic and landscape conditions, at no point shall the personell excede 500 or 25 operational Planes. The Base will also create jobs for locals and be fully accesible to the Tukarali Military at your Behest, of course Tukarali Planes will be able to perform operations from and to the Base ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We hope you see the benefits of this, and look forward to further co-operation between our 2 nations. NOTE; I will be proposing a treaty agreed by both myself and the ONCP that will allow Tukarali Troops to be stationed in Dorvik. Yours Faithfully, Marcus Vare |
Date | 22:30:04, January 24, 2006 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | We will not support this treaty. We are against getting involved in foreign treaties that will obligate us to certain things if things go wrong. If we ally with you, as the ONCP clearly wants, WE WILL have to get involved. We are a neutral nation and prefer to negotiate peace. This will move us out of that neutrality and that is something that we do not accept. We take our neutrality seriously and our forces stay here, in Tukarali. We will not have them go overseas and we will not get involved in a war. If the Axis (whom have approached us but we ignored them) want to start another war, we will try our best to come to a peace agreement and end the war without much bloodshed. If that fails, then we will stay out of the war because it is of no concern to us. This alliance is nothing more than an invitation to disaster and we see it for what it truly is. For us to violate our neutrality. We will not compromise that at all. Members of the Grand Tribal Council, this treaty will force us out of our neutrality. We ratify this, our nation will be attacked because the Axis will see us as a threat. Our own citizens will be at risk if we do this and that is something that no self respecting council member can vote for. We know the ONCP doesn't care about our citizens because they have proposed this treaty to this body. Members of the Council, which is more important? Neutrality in which we can sit on the sidelines or being seen as supporting an alliance that we aren't even apart of? We choose neutrality and that is why we are opposing this bill. Message | In the light shredded regaring recent comments by the ONCP and The Green Coliataion, I have to respectfully deny any chance of support for this treaty from our party. Thomas Raybee Redneck Party |

Date | 11:30:21, January 28, 2006 CET | From | One Nation Socialist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | I still urge my fellow members of the grand tribal council to let the talks between the two countries continue. We will promise to inform you of goings on. |
Date | 16:30:31, January 28, 2006 CET | From | Patriot Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | The people do not trust you for these negotiations. If these talks continue, then they should be done at the Great Chieftain level of government. |
Date | 23:13:36, January 28, 2006 CET | From | Social-Conservative party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | Military pacts are wanted, we support. |
Date | 05:59:47, January 29, 2006 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | Why do you want military pacts? They'll just get us involved in foreign wars. |
Date | 12:38:49, January 29, 2006 CET | From | One Nation Socialist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | As i have said The Green coalition can't afford to get involved in any wars as they are in danger of losing power if they do. This treat certainly has the potential to bring our military forces up to an acceptable standard without having to increase the budget too much. |
Date | 14:30:49, January 29, 2006 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Tukarali-Dorvik Military Co-operation Pact |
Message | At the expense of our national soveriegnty. NO. We will not tolerate foreign troops on our soil. This is an alliance that will get us involved in Foreign Wars. Take alook at their debate on this very treaty. The Green Coalition showed them a bill that they received regarding the Axis are planning their war. It changed the minds of other people and the bill passed with absolutely no debate whatsoever. At least we are civilized to actually debate a bill without being scared. This will drag us into a foreign conflict sooner or later and we do not want that. Our nation is neutral and shall remain neutral. David Corwin Great Chieftain |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
