| On the grounds that military service isn't suited for all citizens and that forcing those who don't wish to participate for religious or conscious-related reasons, it is hereby proposed that a viable alternative be offered. It is in the interests of all those involved that they be permitted to make a choice that suits their course in life. They would be given the option of either a term of military service or a term of national civilian service. |

Current: There shall be no mandatory military or civilian national service.
Proposed: All adults upon completion of schooling must serve either a term in the military or a lesser paid term of civilian national service, at their option.
