Bill: Stronger Diplomatic Immunity

Details

Submitted by[?]: Classical Liberal Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4013

Description[?]:

The Neo-Democratic Party believes that the current Federal Union law completely abolishing diplomatic immunity is damaging to Federal Union representatives abroad. Countries hosting embassies of the Federal Union will be forced to adopt their own hard-line stance against diplomatic immunity, potentially endangering our diplomats to laws that are contrary to Federal Union policies and values. This bill does not fully instate diplomatic immunity, but gives foreign diplomats more protections, for the purpose of securing such protections for our own diplomats abroad.
