I'm afraid we _still_ see no good reason for an early election at this time, sorry.

MessageJust curious, if I may.

Could you please explain what you are seeking to _accomplish_ with these?

Is it just that you don't like our elections being on Sundays, and would prefer them to be on a different day of the week (probably Friday with how this bill is timed)?
That, this bill could do. (But I OOCly like them being on Sundays, so I'd vote against anyway.)

But if it's instead that you want more seats, well, there has been a mere one visibility-affecting bill which has been voted upon between the last election and now.

And also, no parties have folded between then and now, so there are no vacant seats up for grabs. (The vast majority of the time, the purpose of an early election is specifically in order to redistribute such vacant seats left behind by a party which has recently vanished.)

Both of which together mean: that an early election at this time would just give all of the parties right around the same number of seats as they already have right now. So, why bother?

Or, might there be some other reason? Just curious....

MessageI agree with the KPJP. It is good that elections are held around the Sunday/Monday period, as that is when most players will be active. There really is no immediate need for a snap election.

Do note that introducing five early election bills within a span of five game years will alert Moderation.

MessageI will nonetheless vote for the bill since I really don't mind either way. It is unlikely to pass.

MessageIt means hold 5 elections in 5 game years, not introduce 5 bills.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
