Bill: Public Safety- Crowds and Protests II
Details
Submitted by[?]: Classical Liberal Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 4026
Description[?]:
This bill would give the police the power to disperse a crowd if it is deemed, through an extensive process, that the crowd is a possible threat to public safety. Safeguards would be in place to ensure the police do not abuse this power, and ensure that the freedom of speech is ensured for all citizens in the Federal Union. The Neo-Democratic Party just wants to ensure public gatherings do not turn into riots that result in the destruction of both public and private property. |
