Message | Our businesses have almost no taxes at all! If we don't raise taxes, we're in deep shit. How is it fair that business only get 5% taxes, while people get 30% taxes? |

Message | It isn't. The logical answer would be to cut taxes, and cut spending. But you money hungry morons cannot understand that concept can you? |

Message | Tax and spend is the only way to improve Luthori. The money hungry morons running business might like low taxes, but we use their money to help society. |

Message | "Tax and spend is the only way to improve Luthori." No. Corporation and sales taxes will drive away investors, leading to yet a greater burder on the individual taxpayer. This is no way to improve the Empire! |

Message | Even though we are doubling corporation and luxury goods tax, both are still considerably small. |

Message | It's mostly the market regulation we oppose anyway, but the tax hike is hardly necessary when we have a surplus. |

Message | I'm guessing we're about to see a new budget. |

Message | We are not fond of articles 1 and 2. Article 5 of course we support. Articles 3 and 4 we don't see the need for, but we are not opposed to them. We will vote yes, but will probably introduce legislation down the road the on advertising and child labor. |

Message | You'd rather that there be unregulated child labor? That's a tad bit odd. Listen; I'm just making it so that Children CAN work, to make themselves some cash. It's like how in the United States, after 16 you can get a job to make cash for yourself (although you can do some jobs starting at 14). It's like that, except for the fact that the child workers are actually better off than their adult counterparts. |

Message | Having the central government regulating paper rounds and boys washing their neighbours' cars is just silly! |
Date | 18:58:16, January 25, 2006 CET | From | Social Calvinist Unionist Party | To | Debating the La Nostra Economia Grande Ha bisogno Dell'Aiuto! |
Message | That's not a real job; a real job is when you are actual listed down as employed. Paper rounds might go there, yes, but not washing a neighbors car. Just like when an unemployed person does a little job (like walk a dog, or something), that doesn't count as employment. |
Date | 20:23:26, January 25, 2006 CET | From | Shuggoth Progressive Party | To | Debating the La Nostra Economia Grande Ha bisogno Dell'Aiuto! |
Message | Just to clarify, the SPP is completely opposed to child labor. Paper rounds and car washing is fine, it's not employment per se. Working on an assembly line at 9 years old or whatever is kind of different. |

Message | As far as we're concerned child labour includes paper rounds, washing cars, apprenticeships and military cadetships. There shouldn't be banned or driven underground as we would lose tax revenue. |
Date | 01:04:41, January 26, 2006 CET | From | Social Calvinist Unionist Party | To | Debating the La Nostra Economia Grande Ha bisogno Dell'Aiuto! |
Message | We don't tax paper rounds! We don't tax washing cars! We DO tax those other thingers. |
