Bill: Tax Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal Patriots' League
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2176
Description[?]:
Despite claims by the RFP; rich people do in fact need to eat and wear clothes. Furthermore poor people to do by "luxury" goods like televisions. However high taxes are depriving and discouraging the poor from buying luxury goods. Furthermore a flat consumption tax would be more efficient (even if not proposed in this bill). If the Senate is truely concerned about the poor; then they should pass a resolution for more welfare or income tax changes, as they would be the most cost-effective way of helping the needy. |

Message | **Ministry of Finance** We find no financial reason to raise these taxes as of now. Our budget is adopted well, and these taxes will only generate revenue to be chosen to spent, when citizens could be getting tax relief. Minister of Finance Bill Killion |
