Bill: Bill NLA-54 Space Enterprise Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Democratic Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2176

Description[?]:

If we are to succeed as not just a nation but as a people living on this Terra we must always move forward in progress to explore and discover new horizons. The new horizon, the final frontier, is space. Space Exploration is not just an empty void, as we explore the stars, new information, clues, resources and civilizations are explored which will better the conditions of life.

To actively move forward and undertake a major role in space exploration, we need to co-ordinate our current resources to a more effective method to enterprise and explore where no one has been before. I, as a Senator of the New Liberal Alliance, petition this honourable Senate for the establishment of a Darnussian Space Command to take on this role and establish a set target, before this decade or this century is out, to land people on a new world and return them safely to the Earth. I now, Phillip J. Kennedy, now take my seat again as part of this auspicious Senatorial body. Thank you.

Random fact: Characters are considered to be "owned" by the player who first mentioned or created them. In practice, players may share responsibility for role-playing a character, but ultimate authority rests with the owner.

Random quote: "The first step in freeing yourself from social restrictions is the realization that there is no such thing as a 'safe' code of conduct, one that would earn everyone's approval. Your actions can always be condemned by someone, for being too bold or too apathetic, for being too conformist or too nonconformist, for being too liberal or too conservative. So it's necessary to decide whose approval is important to you." - Harry Browne
