Message | Supreme Marshal of the Diet, As previously stated, my party cannot vote for tax cuts unless the budget is balanced. However, we would be willing to make concessions if there is a plan in place to pay down the debt and move to a situation where deficit spending can be eliminated. I yield. |

Message | Mr Speaker, We choose to view this as more of a job creating measure. The politics of envy vs job creation - we will always pick the latter. It can only lead to increased tax revenue from the newly employed workers and expanded incomes, which we would then plough into the public services. A win-win situation.
