Bill: True Path Bill (ii)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Likaton Fascist Front
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2176
Description[?]:
Absalom ben Adamah in his wisdom has determined that the following laws should be subject to review by his esteemed collegues of the convocation. 1. Animals are a resource to be used as we see fit. It will be far more efficient if scientists are not regulated under unecessary laws 2. Why should we pour public money into the coffers of private organisations, and those same private organisations are out to make money. These organisations are profitable enough. 3. We do not need the internet, and the inherent spread of morally decadent material it brings, as well as the dilution of Likatonian culture. 4. We propose that our military be founded upon religious lines, with the implicit national spirit that will inevitably permeate the armed forces. This will ensure common goals throughout the organisation and a committed belief in the sanctity of our soil. 5. The admirable qualities of the average likatonians, in physiology, mental temperment and spiritual beleifs should never be diluted by foreigners 6. Pornography is incontrovertably linked to decadent societies. The exploitation endemic in this industry is something we do not want to see any Likatonian peddle. 7. Prisoners of war have proved themselves inferior. We can show mercy sparing their lives, but as they are not fit to be considered comperable with 'Likatonian' stock, they should be enslaved for state exploitation. 8. Education will become something that private companies will compete for customers, thus driving the price of education down to affordable levels for all. |
