Message | This is an illiberal attempt to remove people's autonomy over their own bodies and lives, and I cannot in good conscience support it. |

Message | I understand that there may be tough times in part of the patient but the solution is not to let our medical system slide down the slippery slope of killing people in pain. We must cure not kill. |

Message | The purpose of euthanasia is to allow those who _cannot recover_ to end their life on their own terms, rather than that of their illnesses. Unless the Prime Minister has the cure for cancer in his back pocket, I'd recommend that he send this bill to the darkness from whence it came. |

Message | Then you are actually promoting social inequality. People with no money would just resort to euthanasia just because they can't afford the payment to cure their illness. Euthanasia does not promote autonomy of one's body. It magnifies the the broadening gap of two social classes. People did not go to the hospital to be killed. They go there to be cured. |

Message | (OOC: Sorry for the double post, not sure what it did) That's a false equivalency if I've ever heard one; why must we choose between no euthanasia, or costly euthanasia, when we can offer free euthanasia? |

Message | Euthanasia is not a choice. If we alllow euthanasia then we are just allowing the medical system to crumble. We have a pending legislation for free public health care, but you advocate euthanasia? We must, by all means, delegalize euthanasia because it is not the duty of medical people to kill their patients. That is incompetence. Our medical society should strive to cure their patients and not just conform to notion that they would just die. Because if they're alive, there is still chance of cure. |

Message | This is shocking legislation. We will pull out of government if this passes |
