Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2177

Description[?]:

Companies should not be allowed to fire workers for standing up for their rights. This current law lets corporations define unreasonable strikes, and therefore I'm against it.

MessageSo a worker who believes that the factory colour should be pink is allowed to go on strike as he wishes without fear of being fired? Seems like a way to get out of work, and still get paid and keep your job.

MessageNo, because striking workers don't get paid, and ultimately it is in their own interest to keep their facotries running. If they go on perpetual strikes the factories will shut down and they will be out of a job. Give these people some credit. They're not stupid.

This bill is meant to ensure that employers can't fire their workers for making reasonable demands. Workers have a right to demand fair pay and decent standards, and perhaps to repaint if the color of the walls are an extremely ugly shade of pink. They are equal members in the employee-employer relationship. They contribute just as much as the employer, and deserve an equal voice in how the company is run, so that one day there will be neither employer nor employee, but equals in business.

Random fact: Real-life organisations should not be referenced in Particracy, unless they are simple and generic (eg. "National Organisation for Women" is allowed).
