Bill: Senate Act of 4047

Details

Submitted by[?]: Baltusian International Democratic Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4048

Description[?]:

This Act names the Government of Baltusia a 'Senate'. When a debate is happening- this act asks that we address the speaker and that policies are further debated than they are currently. Also once they have written their debate they must state which Senator made the argument and if they are the leader of that party or the minister of a specific ministry. This act means that future acts are further debated and there is more structure to this nations government.

Could we try this structure during this debate as a trial?

MessageMr Speaker,

We the Conservative Party of Baltusia are in support of this revolutionary reform. This reform would allow more structure to debates and voting. This reform would allow for an overall better government.
We invite any other party to state why they oppose this style of debate or make an argument directed towards the Conservative Party. Thankyou

Leader of The Conservative Party of Baltusia

MessageMr Speaker,

Could we also ask that when senators are addressing the other earlier senators statement, could they refer to them as the individual Senator rather than the Party as a whole. For example- If the one of the Moderate Senators wanted to address my earlier statement, then they should refer to me as Senator Leitch. This is the same if I was to refer to a Moderate Senator, perhaps President Selmani or another Senator of theirs. Also could parties please note that they can use different senators in the same debate from their party and they don't have to stick to one.

MessageI don't agree, changing it to the senate doesn't make sense. Because the senate is only one part of the congress.

MessageMr Speaker,

Does the Progressive not agree that we could we not at least use the addressing the individual method at least? And address the speaker. Also, what are our Members of the Congesses titles for example senator or member
