MessageWe would like to adapt this law to the common practice in the world, in order to not to become the killers of the world. What is your opinion?

MessageNo. The state has no right to decide on the life of consenting individuals. If both parties agree they should be free to do so.

MessageWe will support this bill because although it is not directly in our interests, it does stop some Euthnasia. The state has no right to determine when humans die, it is not up to us.

MessageTo the Spokesperson of the PNC,

If your aim is to stop the state from determining when humans die, why support a bill that does exactly the opposite. The law, as it is right now, leaves the choice on the hands of the patient and the doctor who would be carrying out the procedure. This gives maximum freedom to citizens, and protects individual rights the most.

Mateo Tulio

MessageWhat we want is to stop abuses as doctors have faced during the years of application. It will not be the state, but the Judicial System. What we cannot do is giving the doctor that amount of responsability and pressure in the delicate moment of an euthanasia.

MessageSo now the Judicial system is not part of the state? And aside from that, removing the choice from the doctor doesn't sound to us as the best way to releasing pression from their shoulders. Plus, this new law would create the posibility for a repulsive situation: The patient and the doctor, whom, mind you, are the only two people involved in this situation, might be willing, and JUST BECAUSE a third person, who should not have a say in such a private decision, does not agree with the procedure, the individual is left to suffer.

Or another case in where the patient and the judge are both wilming and the doctor isn't, situation that would force him to perform a procedure he doesn't agree with. How is that for pressure?

Mateo Tulio,
Spokespersom of the PLE

MessageEuthanasia should not happen in the first place - we are supporting a law that make it harder for it to be applied.

MessageThen stop lying. You are not against the state having the right to decide who lives and who dies especially because of your support of capital punishment, but to take from people the right to decide over their own lives. We will do our best to stop this bill from becoming law.

MessageThis law will make harder the application of euthanasia. What we cannot do is to make the doctor be the pressured, as it is. Anyway, we would like to remind Mr. Tulio that doctors, in their ethic code created by the Hipocratic Oath can object.
As far as we see, we can get the support of the PNC, and the vote against of the PLE, and we do not know anything about the leftists. We would like to wait until we can get their opinion and, in the moment we have a clear outcome, we will end the debate and start the voting procedure, since my party does not want to be part of this legal slaughter.
