Bill: P.d.l. 03/51 Administrative Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Alleanza Radicale - NCD

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4052

Description[?]:

The PSLI propose a bill to reform the appointment of mayors. It's one of the last measures to reintroduce definitively the democracy in Istalia.
The PSLI propose the election of the moyors directly by citiziens, a presidential government form because the mayors is a role more active and more close to the citiziens and because we believe that this solution can ensure faster decision-making and thus solution more suitable for smaller realities and closer to the citizens.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.

Random quote: Although I understand and respect the intentions behind the gesture, this is not something that is universally understood or appreciated, and it tends to give out a negative impression of our party. ~ Anton Weinreich, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party, pleading with his members to stop burning the national flag
