Voting deadline: April 4055
Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, here at the Lodamese Freedom Party we feel it is necessary to have an understanding of the chemicals and biological agents that go into these weapons and therefore can research them but we do not feel it is necessary to store these heinous weapons as they are inhumane and toxic to not only a military population, but also a civilian population. We would like to propose the research of these weapons, for counter-intelligence purposes, is permitted, storing, and distributing of these weapons are prohibited. |

Message | We will still be researching and developing these weapons, to understand the threat they impose, but we will not be storing them. We will still understand and be furthering our knowledge on them but our storage, distribution and use of these agents as weapons should be prohibited. - Jody Chandler, Head of Science and Technology of the Lodamese Freedom Party |

Message | Mr. Speaker, for years we have been researching such weaponry and its technology. I am proud to say that we have some state of the art equipment because of the investments and research we have done. At this point we do have biological and chemical weapons stored, some of them ready to use. The facilities where these weapons are being produced, as well as the bases where they are being stored, are very well guarded. Have we ever used such weapons? Did we ever consider to use them? Not in my lifetime. Lodamese people are no agressors. We do not feel like using these weapons without having a solid reason. These weapons are stored to be used whenever that should be necessary, and knowing we do have such weaponry, other nations might be reluctant to attack our nation. I stand with Mr. Moore on this one: we should continue to research such weapons for our own safety. I can assure all of you present in this Presidium that the Defence department and the Ministry of Science are making an enormous effort to keep this safe. The production of such weapons takes a serious amount of time, time we won't have in case of an attack. Alex Murphy Minister of Defence |
