The Evangelical Catholic Church of the Orient is the established religion of our land and rightly conducts the ancient ceremonies and prayers of our people in praise of the Imperial Family, whose divinity is without question. The members of Hausu Shānhōsuto humbly suggest that the following laws be changed to preserve the honor of Her Imperial and Divine Majesty and to regulate the Church as well, making sure that the Truth is taught, heresy is avoided and good and faithful persons are appointed to lead.
