Message | This would be a massive cost to the state, our nations budget would most likely be put into a large deficit, if we were to pass this. The current system of subsidizing rent works well, we don't want a nation that is dependent on hand outs, we believe the government should give the people a hand up, instead of a hand out. |

Message | It is disgusting that my colleagues at the Republic Alliance Party value money more than the quality of life for our people. Rent subsidization was a step in the right direction, but it is time to finish the battle by enacting this final solution. Bringing housing to the lower class will allow them to focus their efforts less on applying for rent subsidies, and can focus more on putting back into the economy. Furthermore, studies have shown that happier workers with a better quality of life will be noticeably more productive than those with a low quality of life. |

Message | The people in this country don't have a poor quality of life, we are fairly generous with those on welfare. I noticed at the end, you said, workers with a better quality of life, the people who will get government housing, will more than likely be unemployed, and therefore not workers. So you say we value money more than people, I can tell you now, that is a big fat lie! If our nation gets into debt, which it will if we passed this bill, our economy would collapse, you cannot operate a nations economy at a deficit, for consecutive years, the economy would definitely collapse. If that were to happen, and our country got into massive debt, we would have to borrow more money, likely from a privatised central bank, what you would have then is something called inflation, because we would be borrowing too much, our currency and our economy would be very weak, major corporations and business' would pull out of this country, and your precious workers would be out of jobs. So I think we do care about people because we are stopping this from happening, we think in terms of logic, not emotions, to solve problems, that's the big difference between you and I....believe me. |
