MessageOOC- Before I do a proper response you know this will not change anything? Like it's an OK idea but will not do anything without proposals. I will do a proper MP response now.

MessageDear Parliament,

First I would like to thank the freedom party for raising the issue of house prices. In our nation people are finding it more difficult to buy affordable homes and currently, even now while we negotiate a cabinet that works many citizens feel trapped. Home prices and rent prices sky rocket as our economy is uncertain and real action must be taken. The bill proposed today promises a bank(s) to assist people in house buying. But we will be sadly voting no. There is no details on prices. If it were to operate under a system where say 15% of the house price was loaned to the person and they payed annually 5% of the house price. One third of the price it would take 3 years to pay back plus say 2.5% interest on the total house price we could vote yes. But we fear as a party that upwards of 50% to the entire house would be payed for and feel that due to inflation that this is not the way to go. We will work with other parties, particularly the freedom party on housing. A investigation into prices or a alliance with buyers and builders to negotiate fair terms will be workable. But this could halt the free market and damage peoples chances as they become loan dependent.
Yours,
Vincent Lee
