| A Bill to provide for the creation and financing of a national civilian service for all adults: WHEREAS this nation draws strength from the dedication of its youth to national service, WHEREAS the current regulations for national service do not allow for conscientious objectors not to serve in the military forces during their period of national service, THEREFORE, the Parti National de la Jeunesse Gauche propose that all citizens shall complete a period of national service upon reaching the age of majority, which may be served in a military or civilian capacity. Further, the period of service may be deferred for up to four years to allow there individual to complete their undergraduate education. Furthermore, any citizen who is deemed physically incapable of meeting the demands of the period of service shall be exempt. |
