Description[?]:
Stories are emerging of an attempted marauding terrorist attack in the financial district of Villita, the City of Villita. The attempted attack took place on 22nd street, two blocks away from the Kruger charity dinner. It is not yet known if Kruger was the target, however, it is understood that KrugerSec peacekeepers were able to subdue the terrorists, who had only succeeded in wounding three members of the public, one seriously. Found on the terrorist, who is now in KrugerSec custody, were grenades, two sidearms, ammunition to "last the night" and a copy of the socialist manifesto. It can, therefore, be inferred that the attack was aimed at disrupting the cornerstone of Baltusian finance. The City of Villita, not to be confused with Villita, is a five square mile is a semi-autonomous city-state which recognizes the rulership of the president in exchange for independence. It is owned entirely by Kruger Holding and has the lowest crime rate in Baltusia. Experts have suggested that this is linked to the fact that KrugerSec police the city. |

Message | Statement from KrugerSec: "At this time, we can name the attacker as 21-year-old Joseph Orwal. Mister Orwal has pleaded guilty to attempting to commit an act of terror and will face trial as soon as possible. Until then, he remains in KrugerSec custody and poses no danger to the public. Mister Orwal was very helpful in disclosing the names, locations, and intentions of other members of his organization, the so-called "People's Army". KrugerSec will work closely with the national police to find and arrest the aforementioned members that exist outside of the KrugerSec jurisdiction whilst also actively seeking the arrest of those within the KrugerSec jurisdiction. I'm also in a position to say that the victim who was critically wounded is now in a stable condition thanks to the swift actions of a KSec Guardian who administered first aid on the scene. Thank you for listening." |
