Message | Thank you Your Honour, The state prosecution have decided to withdraw the case against Mr Chimboldon, Freedom Party Leader, as there was not enough evidence and the prosecution did not feel there was a case to pursue for the incitement of terrorism offence. This was due to: -The Freedom Party not directly causing or directing an attack, simply just claiming it was their member who did it. Therefore this case shall be against the Progressive Party leader ONLY. The evidence against them shall be given tomorrow once the defendants law team are assembled. I assume that the court is adjourned until tomorrow. State Prosecutor Bernstein |

Message | *** Strikes gavel**** This sessions is now in order, I am Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Horace Rumpole. Chief Justice Jon Robertson has had a seizure and will not be able to continue. I will take over proceedings from this point. As this is a jury trial, there is no bias and you - leader of the Progressive Party - will be judged fairly by your peers. As a point of order, the law on death penalty was changed as the trial began therefore will not be applied. Maximum sentence if convicted is life imprisonment and, depending on circumstances, I may recommend that Congress votes on dissolving your party for being in breach of Article 9.2 of the Constitution. But that remains to be seen. Mr State Prosecutor, please proceed with your case... |

Message | Thank you Your Honour. Please review and accept/reject evidence spoken and published by the defendant herself. A1:http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=481146 'We claim responsibility!!!' Firstly she claims responsibility and then A2:http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=481146 'We will send attacks to anybody that threaten the left wing parties.' gives reason for why she did it and why she could do it again in the future! Do you accept the evidence Your Honour? State Prosecutor Bernstein |

Date | 17:00:02, August 11, 2016 CET | From | Patriotic Party of Baltusia | To | Debating the Sumpreme Court, Criminal: State v Progressive Party [4072] |
Message | Thank you Mr Bernstein. I have reviewed the evidence and accept both elements. Stand by to proceed with your case. Mr Jacobs (Progressive Party), I ask you to please stand. At this stage of proceedings and seeing the evidence in front of you, you have the option to plead guilty if you so want. Otherwise we will proceed to the case for the prosecution. Does the defendant plead guilty to the charge of Incitement Of Terrorism? Simply answer Guilty or Not Guilty. (No reply at all will be taken as a Not Guilty but I suggest you give an answer). Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Horace Rumpole |

Date | 18:32:07, August 11, 2016 CET | From | Constitution Committee | To | Debating the Sumpreme Court, Criminal: State v Progressive Party [4072] |
Message | That is understood, Mr Bernstein, If you don't want to present a case alongside your evidence, that is acceptable, but know that sometimes we may need you to connect the dots. Also, I have updated my law books, they were a bit out of date, the maximum sentence is permanent banishment or a life sentence. The Honourable Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Jon Robertson. |

Message | Here is my final case: Thank you Your Honour The defendant clearly directed the attack and as a result of this 91 people died and 140 were injured. Here I set out my case: A1:http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=481146 'We claim responsibility!!!' Firstly she claims responsibility, this in itself simply is not a crime but it links to her next speech. A2:http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=481146 'We will send attacks to anybody that threaten the left wing parties.' He then gives a reason for why he did it, that the Democrats had 'threatened' the Left wing parties. But even worse he then says he could do it again in the future! This dangerous man has the capability and power to kill, he's already done it and admitted he would do it again. Please Jury when making your decision listen to the defendants language, he sent out an attack and it killed 91 people. State Prosecutor Bernstein |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
