MessageAnother change will completely cripple our economy. The people of Dorvik just got used to the new system, changing it now may result in a civil unrest, remember that 48.82% of voters stand behind the plan. And what will we do with all the state-owned industry? Close it? Start again with no industry? This would leave a huge chunk of our population unemployed. I like everyone to think about this bill once more. Do you want to make policy for the working man or for rich oligarchs?

MessageState Chancellor,

We would rather put the interests of the 52% of the nation sick and tired of the Koloman Plan than a minority of it. The Koloman Plan has destroyed our economy, you state our nation has "gotten used" to this plan, but they are still paying absurdly high taxes to keep it afloat. Things before the Koloman Plan were ticking along smoothly. As for these Privatized industries, if you cared to actually read our bill, we have not actually destroyed nationalized industries, merely legalized private ones to exist alongside. We decided not to currently implement too much of a radical change, thus giving us the best of both worlds for now.

MessageHonorable Hilda Wetter,

"Proposed: The government acts as an investor of last resort, by nationalizing failing industries that provide vital goods or services."
Most of the state owned industry isn't failing, what happens to them? Our economy never was destroyed, it is normal for a economy to take a hit after such a big change, it takes it's time to recover. We also want to point out that our party isn't the only one responsible for the deficits in the last years, by abandoning the essential goods tax your party put us into a deficit in the first place. But by making another change like that we will bring it into a state where it can't recover anymore. And we never suggested to abandon this bill simply because 48% don't want that, we were stating that there is a possibility that this will divide our country.

MessageState Chancellor,

A redundant point, hopefully we SHOULDN'T have to act as an investor, it's only when vital goods and services are in danger. That's the whole point, unlike your party, we champion business and entrepreneurship. And stating that our economy wasn't destroyed, come along chaps, it's fairly obvious it was, with that 28 billion deficient we had, before we had to hike up taxes for ordinary citizens. You point towards our blunder with the essential goods tax, we were acting our of morality here, and the deficit left there still didn't hold a single CANDLE to the deficit your party left! As for implementing more changes, studies have shown this will have a positive impact on our economy, most nations across Terra welcome the revocation of communism in Dorvik. Finally, with your point about creating a divide in Dorvik, there is already a divide, plus opinion polls show more and more citizens daily are coming out against the Koloman Plan, once people see the positive impact of its removal, they will be most pleased I think!
