| All the cool kids are doing it, why should these couple of jerks get out of it? School is important to socialize people, to show people what a rad country Selucia is, and to ensure that everyone gets a minimum level of education. |

| Message | I disagree with this. Some cultures believe that education should happen in the home (hutterites). I think we should accomodate this belief. |

| Message | The problem as I see it is that alot of the groups that favor education at home also have radical beliefs and tend to share that belief with their kids, and there is no public exposure where some of the worst of those ideas (homophobia, racism, sexism, etc.) would be debunked. I appreciate the desire for tolerance, but I think this is a case where tolerance produces tangible problems for society. |

| Message | Isn't there a corrolary to this law that states schooling has to achieve certain standards? If that's the case, your concerns will be unfounded. Home schooling would be no different than attending a private school. |

| Message | To clarify, the national standards only apply at post-secondary levels. Such an option doesn't exist at the lower levels. This is an issue that probably should be created and inserted into the game. |

| Message | If you'll pardon the terribly hackneyed saying coming up, my concern isn't that these kids won't be able to pass a test in math or science, it is that they will fail the test of life - common social skills that are normally developed in schools with large numbers of peers that cannot be replicated by homeschooling. |
